This is a Spanish-speaking country in South America, rich in tradition and history. It has many different types of climates, but mostly temperate, and topography with deserts in the north, ocean shore and famous beaches on the east coast, Andes Mountains on the west coast with renowned vineyards, pampas in the eastern and central part of the country and spectacular Swiss-like vistas in the south. Argentina has the southern-most city in the world. The people of Argentina are very social and 'warm'. Catholicism is the main religion, the family is very important to Argentines, mate is a tea that everyone enjoys, and the people of Argentina eat a lot of beef. Their economy has taken some rough tumbles lately, with a very sharp decline in the value of their peso.
