Listed below are important events and activities for inbound students.
September 6, 2008
Inbound Student, Host Family, Club Officer Orientation (1/2 day).
October 25-26, 2008 (Sat. & Sun.)
Halloween Weekend for inbound students. Host Club: St. Croix Falls/Taylors Falls.
November 8 , 2008
District 5960 Foundation Event at Prom Center ~ Oakdale, MN. Inbound Students host Silent Auction. No foundation event involving 5950 inbound students.
December 6-7, 2008
Country Fair & Overnight - Inbound students promote the Youth Exchange Program at Outbound Interview Session. Students are to wear their national costume or Rotary blazer and be prepared to promote their home country. Overnight includes special activities as planned by the Northfield Rotary Club. Country Fair will be at Roseville Area Middle School; overnight in Northfield.
January or February 2009
Inbound Orientation Session (1/2 day) for all January arrivals and all of their host parents and host club exchange officers. Exact date, time, and location to be determined.
February 21, 2009
Inbound students assist with Outbound Orientation session at Roseville Area Middle School; preliminary preparation for District Conference (no overnight).
April 17-19, 2009
District 5960 Conference at University of Wisconsin-River Falls, University Center. All District 5960 inbounds participate. Attendance of students hosted in District 5960 is required.
April 24-25, 2009
District 5950 Conference. All District 5950 inbounds participate. Attendance of students hosted in District 5950 is required.
June 20-21, 2009
A Valleyfair Adventure and overnight for our inbound students. Hosted by the Rotary Club of Shakopee.
June 27-July 14, 2008 (Saturday-Tuesday)
Summer Eastern States Rotary Trip for inbound students.
